The 2020 Jeep Gladiator is Named by Sobre Ruedas the Best Off-Road Vehicle at the Miami Auto Show
The 2020 Jeep Gladiator was named the “Best Off-Road Vehicle” at the 2019 Sobre Ruedas automotive radio show. Sobre Ruedas is the leading Spanish-language syndicated show in the United States. It’s not surprising that it was named the “Best Off-Road Vehicle” of 2019 since the all-new 2020 Jeep Gladiator is being called the most capable midsize truck ever.
“The Jeep Gladiator is a midsize truck that truly dominates in both on- and off-road driving while providing a high level of versatility that today’s customers demand,” said director and host of Sobre Ruedas, Jaime Florez. “No other truck of any size offers the unique experience of open-air driving while also having the capability to tackle any obstacle thrown its way, all in a very attractive package.”
The awards ceremony is taking place at the Miami Beach Convention Center (from November 1-10, 2019) as part of the Miami International Auto Show (it’s 49th edition). Responsible for generating the nominations are the Sobre Ruedas executive committees (there are over seven).
The 2019-20 Executive Committee consists of Grant Kelly, senior associate AD/director of development at Johns Hopkins University, Matt Borman, deputy AD, development at the University of Georgia; Jennifer Lynne Williams, director of athletics at Alabama State University, Dan Cloran, executive associate AD, development at The Ohio State University and Karen Langston, senior associate AD for external relations and capital projects at California State University Bakersfield. There is also Ryan White, senior associate AD for development at the University of Kansas; and Jennifer Montgomery executive director of development, athletics development and alumni relations at George Washington University. Jeremy Wang is the associate vice president for development at Temple University.
