The Cummins® Turbo Diesel I6 engine offers 370-horsepower and 850 lb-ft of torque on the 2500 and the 3500; which is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission for a responsive and powerful kick. The available 6.7L High-Output Cummins Turbo Diesel I6 engine is available for the 3500 and offers best-in-class torque and diesel towing capabilities with 1,075 lb-ft of torque, 37,090 lbs of towing capability, and the powerful 420-horsepower to back it.

The colossal grille is nostalgically reminiscent of an 18-wheeler, with gorgeous curves throughout its exterior that give it the feel of a muscle car on a much larger scale. The Tradesman, Bighorn, and Laramie trims all feature a set of eight monotone colors to choose from; while the Power Wagon and the Limited Longhorn can come in eight monotone shades as well as eight two-tone shades (for the Power Wagon) and four two-tone options for the Limited trim.

Interior Features

The interior of this monster vehicle is just as big as one would expect and even more functional than ever. The 2022 Ram HD allows buyers to find the available seating that suits their specific and unique needs. There are three different seating configurations to provide ample space for cargo and passengers for every occasion: the Three-Across Rear Seating, Left Single Rear Seat Folded, and the All Rear Seat Folded. The 2022 Ram HD 2500 and 3500 have trim options that include the Big Horn, the Laramie, the Limited Longhorn, and the Limited; while the Ram 2500 introduces the additional Power Wagon trim. Each trim comes with unique customizations like colorway options, technology, engine options, and towing capabilities; however, it is recommended to consider the Laramie as it has a unique mix of capability, space and luxury or the Power Wagon as it has unique features like the exclusive four-wheel drive, two-tone colorway options, and off-roading capabilities. Ram provides both the HD models with a limited warranty which covers three years or 36,000 miles. The gas powertrain warranty covers five years or 60,000 miles. The diesel powertrain warranty covers five years or 100,000 miles!
