The front-wheel-drive 2024 Chrysler Pacifica is far from listless. It reaches 60 miles per hour in 7.3 seconds and feels lively around town. In gas-only guise, the Pacifica has a 287-horsepower 3.6-liter V-6 engine and a nine-speed automatic transmission beneath its hood. The Pacifica Hybrid, on the other hand, accelerates up to 260 horsepower from its 3.6-liter V-6 engine and two electric motors backed by a 16-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery pack.
What’s new for 2024?
There are few modifications for the Chrysler Pacifica in 2024. Chrysler gives the Pacifica Pinnacle a new interior color option called Sepia, while other trims see Baltic Gray and Red Hot added as new paint choices. The plug-in-hybrid Pacifica gets its trim levels revamped, leaving just two–Hybrid Select and Hybrid Pinnacle.
Style
Exterior Features
The 2024 Chrysler Pacifica is an intriguing take on a two-box shape. While it flaunts its minivan doors, the Pacifica manages to look upscale courtesy of delicate chrome touches, a cohesive body, and some particularly deep paint hues. Its front fascia features a massive grille surrounded by avian-like headlights. A thin strip of brightwork surrounds the windows from the side, and it is echoed at the bottom of the doors. From the rear, however, it is all minivan with a large strip of sheet metal revealing the enormous cargo door.
Interior Features
Spacious, airy, and replete with cupholders, cubbies, slide-out bins, and connectivity, the 2024 Chrysler Pacifica is well-stocked on the features that minivan buyers look for. Indeed, sophisticated Limited and Pinnacle trims come with taller center consoles that blend more seamlessly with the dashboard, giving those trims a more SUV-like feel from behind the wheel. Moreover, the Pinnacle trim comes with quilted-leather upholstery and even offers matching lumbar pillows for the second-row captain’s chairs. Although the Pacifica minivan’s standard Stow ‘n Go seats offer less padding than those of competitors, these chairs need to be compact enough to fold into the van’s floor. In the Pacifica Hybrid, the battery pack requires underfloor-storage space. To make up for relinquishing the Stow ‘n Go second row in the Pacifica Hybrid, Chrysler engineers added extra cushioning to the standard captain’s chairs. Additionally, when it comes to hauling cargo, the Pacifica does not disappoint.
Technology
Entertainment
Chrysler’s Uconnect 5 infotainment system broadcasts crisply on a 10.1-inch touchscreen that is framed by climate-control vents on the van’s dashboard. Uconnect 5 offers a reconfigurable home screen and Amazon Alexa integration. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are also incorporated, which can be connected wirelessly. An optional rear-seat entertainment system provides dual touchscreens and can be had with Amazon Fire TV, offering access to movies and television via embedded streaming applications.
Safety Features and Warranty
The 2024 Chrysler Pacifica adds to its safety standing by offering nearly every conceivable driver-assistance feature available. A new Emergency Vehicle Alert System has been added to the Uconnect infotainment system of the 2024 Chrysler Pacifica, which can tell if emergency vehicles are approaching and notify the driver to yield. Standard safety features range from blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert to automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection and adaptive cruise control. Other key features include lane-departure warning, LED headlamps and tail lamps, and ParkSense Rear Park Assist. In terms of warranty, the limited warranty covers three years or 36,000 miles, and the powertrain warranty covers five years or 60,000 miles. Meanwhile, hybrid components are covered for ten years or 100,000 miles.
