Engine Type

The sole engine of the 2024 Jeep Wagoneer is a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six engine generating a stout 420 horsepower. An eight-speed automatic transmission is standard, as is rear-wheel drive, but buyers seeking to unlock the Wagoneer SUV’s off-road capabilities will want to add four-wheel drive to their order sheet. Speaking of four-wheel drive, there are three different systems to choose from, all with varying degrees of capability. Other available off-road features include an adjustable air suspension that can raise the Wagoneer to provide an additional 3.6 inches of ground clearance and a drive-mode selector system that includes sand/mud, snow, and rock modes. The Wagoneer can also tow up to 10,000 pounds. Additionally, its softly tuned suspension delivers a smooth ride when cruising on the highway.

What’s new for 2024?

The most notable modification in 2024 is the discontinuation of the 5.7-liter Hemi V-8 engine on the Wagoneer. The twin-turbo 3.0-liter inline-six, formerly a no-cost option on the introductory trim, is now standard on all trims. The top-tier Series III now comes with four-wheel drive standard and also gets an air-spring suspension system, a head-up display, and a power-folding third-row. Air springs are also newly optional on the extended L models, but only on Series II and Series II Carbide trims. On base trims, the standalone option for the front passenger display is gone. However, the display is optional on the Series II.

Exterior Features

The 2024 Jeep Wagoneer is available with the Carbide Package. With a High-Gloss Black exterior, Black Onyx grille rings with Gloss Black grille texture, and 20-inch Gloss Black wheels, this stunning take on the timeless Wagoneer exterior is a reminder of how the vehicle can turn heads. Interior Features

A spacious three-row cabin can be equipped with seating for up to eight in the Wagoneer, but opting for second-row captain’s chairs reduces seating to seven. The cabin design is rich and features plenty of standard luxury items, such as 12-way power-adjustable front seats, leather upholstery, ambient interior lighting, and three-zone automatic climate control. Moreover, cargo space is generous, particularly with the third row folded.

Entertainment

The interior of the 2024 Jeep Wagoneer is covered extensively by screens, with a 10.1-inch infotainment display taking center stage and a 10.3-inch digital gauge display offering readouts for the driver. Even the front-seat passenger can have their own display—an optional 10.3-inch unit—integrated into the dashboard that provides access to navigation and entertainment functions. For example, the Uconnect 5 software interface allows users to access all types of features, including Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, integrated navigation, SiriusXM satellite radio, Amazon FireTV and Alexa, and a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot. The 2024 Wagoneer comes standard with numerous desirable driver-assistance features, including lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, and pedestrian detection. Other features range from full-speed forward collision warning with active braking to blind spot monitoring with rear cross path detection and a 360-degree surround view camera with washer. To clarify, when the rear window washer is activated, the back-up cameras are washed as well. In terms of warranty, Jeep’s limited warranty covers three years or 36,000 miles.
