The New 2020 Dodge Charger GT Takes Us By Storm-With All-Weather Capable Performance

December 16th, 2019 by

The All-New 2020 Dodge Charger GT AWD has arrived! This all-wheel-drive pairs up with the award-winning 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine, a standard feature.

It features the class-exclusive active transfer case and front-axle disconnect and delivers top-notch performance in this dynamic muscle style car.

The 2020 Charger includes a face-lift on the exterior front, such as with the performance hood, sculpted sides, high-bolstered seats and per performance steering wheel with paddle shifters.

“Most people think of Chargers and Challengers as high-performance muscle cars, which clearly they are, but they can also be four-season capable AWD performance cars,” said Tim Kuniskis, Global Head of Alfa Romeo and Head of Passenger Cars – Dodge, SRT, Chrysler and FIAT, FCA – North America. “Only Dodge offers vehicles that combine practicality and all-weather driving confidence without sacrificing muscle car attitude.”

The new Dodge vehicle will have more options for all-wheel-drives, as the GT will join the likes of the Charger SXT. This will also give a broader range of price points.

Optimal For Any Season and Any Storm

The All-Weather capability of the new 2020 Dodge is no doubt the highlight of this model.

Starting off with the Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC), the GT has remarkable handling on all surfaces, such as snow, rain, or slush. It’s more than ideal for handling slippery surfaces and aids in keeping the driver on his or her preferred path.

Additionally, the Electronic Stability Control (ESC) is integrated with the front-to-rear torque which enhances effective control even further.

The new GT also has features such as Sport model. When active, the all-wheel-drive is fully engaged and the gear changes are much quicker. The revs are also held higher for even more performance-oriented acceleration. Other features include paddle shifters and Dodge Performance Pages.

Additionally, drivers can utilize the die-cast steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters and view gear selection through the full-color Electronic Vehicle Information Center (EVIC) centered in the instrument cluster, which gives drivers even more control.

Standard Features

Standard Features include Front Air Conditioning, Adaptive Cruise Control, Remote Keyless Entry, Folding Rear Seats, and Uconnect Voice Command with Bluetooth Wireless Connectivity. The navigation system and leather seats are also optional.

Exterior and Interior

The 2020 Dodge Charger will have a wide variety of colors to choose from potential buyers, such as Go Mango, F8 Green, Hellraisin, Sinamon Stick, ToRed and Frostbite.

As for the interior, the outside of the Charger screams “I’m a force to be reckoned with”, but the inside has a calm, cool, and collected business-like interior. Along with the Alcantara cloth sporty seats, it has a very sleek and handsome design. There’s also a generous amount of hip, head, and legroom for rear passengers.

Moreover, a big recommendation is to utilize the 8.4-inch touch screen that goes along with the Uconnect infotainment system.

The estimated cost for the new GT is $34,995 from the U.S manufacturers suggested retail price (MSRP) (plus destination fee).

Those interested in the 2020 Dodge Charger GT will only have to wait until January of 2020. Vehicles are scheduled to arrive in Dodge dealerships in the first quarter of 2020.

Additionally, Cape Coral Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram dealership is currently selling a 2019 version of the new GT)with a starting price for roughly $30,427 (plus destination fee). Please visit our site for more information, representatives are standing by!
