Exterior Features
The 2019 Heavy Duty Ram’s has a bold new styling which is more angular and sharper than its previous models. The nose of the vehicle uses crisp, modern lines, which help define the precise-looking front end. The narrow directional LED headlights flank a split grille, and the Ram crosshairs are no longer part of the design. The different trim levels use their versions of the grille. The Power Wagon, which has its unique styling cues, sports a grille that resembles a handlebar mustache. The Ram 2500 comes only in the single-rear-wheel layout (two wheels in the front and two in the back). The dual-rear-wheel models are the most capable in the lineup, offering the highest towing capacity, at 35,100 pounds.
Interior Features
The Ram Heavy DutyĀ 2019 trucks have stepped up their interior appearance and quality. Each trim has its design, with good-looking premium and long-lasting materials. Ram’s redesigned dashboard houses an optional 12-inch touch screen. If buyers prefer having more tactile controls like knobs and buttons, they can get those with the smaller 8.4-inch display instead. The new Ram Heavy Duty trucks use acoustic glass to reduce ambient sound by almost ten decibels and active noise cancellation.
The Heavy Duty interior bins and boxes offer up to 258 liters of storage. In addition to the massive center console, which can be reconfigured in 12 different ways,Ā such as a dual glove box, extra room for when the rear bench seat is folded up, and the two Ram Bins in the floor on Crew Cab models are covered and hidden from view.
