2019 Ram ProMaster Gets an Upgrade

The 2019 Ram ProMaster is a new and improved version of its former self and should definitely not be overlooked. For the 2018 model year, the Ram ProMaster has a 136-inch wheelbase, now available for with a low roof or a high roof for the 2500 trim, originally only available as a high roof option in 2017. The ProMaster has also expanded on its wheelbase coverage by providing both low and high roof models with a 136-inch wheelbase for the 3500 model of the Ram ProMaster. It wasn’t until the new 2019 model year that a wheelbase that size was made available for the 2019 3500 model of the van.

Each model of the Ram ProMaster has improved on their capability of being able to withstand a greater weight. The 2019 3500 Ram ProMaster can actually withstand up to 4,680 pounds, 240 pounds greater than the 2018 Ram ProMaster 3500. The 2019 2500 model has added 100 pounds from what it could hold from last years 2018, that went from 4,130 pounds to 4,230 pounds. Lastly, the 2019 1500, just like the other two models, has improved on how much weight the van can withstand, specifically ten more pounds than last year, making the 2019 1500 able to withstand a total of 4000 pounds.

The 2019 Ram ProMaster has not only taken a large step up from last year’s eligible weight capacity, but this new and improved van now also has a greater towing capacity. With the new Trailer-tow Equipment Group, this van is capable of towing up to 6,800 pounds. The new towing capacity is 1,700 pounds more than the 2018.

This Ram van has also made some changes to its style, including the bold Ram logo being located at the front of the van over the grille. Although there were only slight changes to the new 2019 Ram Promaster, it can still be recognized and appreciated for its signature look.

If you’re looking for a van in a low-cost range, but also extremely sturdy and reliable, you can’t ignore the affordability of this new loading van. The Ram Promaster also has a starting price of only $30,195*, which is a great deal compared to other vans such as the Transit, starting at $32,380* and the Sprinter starting at $33,995*.
