Engine Type

The 2023 Chrysler Pacifica is far from listless and is particularly lively in a city environment, as it can rev up to 60 miles per hour in 7.3 seconds. In its gas-only version, the minivan accelerates at 287 horsepower with a 3.6-liter V-6 engine, paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission under the hood. The Pacifica functions at an even keel most of the time, with the handling and steering remaining steady.

What’s new for 2023?

Chrysler has made few upgrades to the Pacifica since refreshing it for 2021. However, the midrange Touring L trim provides a slew of features and value when compared to the base Touring trim. For example, perforated leather upholstery, a heated steering wheel, 18-inch wheels, and heated front seats are all considered standard amenities for the higher-level trim. The minivan comes with front-wheel drive, though there is an optional all-wheel-drive system available.

In fact, the elevated Pinnacle trim has matching lumbar pillows for the second-row captain’s chairs and quilted-leather upholstery. Stow ‘n Go seats are standard features and, as far as carrying cargo goes, 53 carry-on suitcases can be easily accommodated with the second- and third-row seats stowed away.  

Entertainment

The 2023 Chrysler Pacifica has a Uconnect 5 infotainment unit that is exhibited on a 10.1-inch touchscreen and framed by climate-control vents on the vehicle’s dashboard. The infotainment system offers a wide array of incorporated features, such as Amazon Alexa, a Wi-Fi hotspot, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay.
